As if the GSG 522 was not cool enough, now you can seriously impress your friends with the GSG 522 drum magazine. How many rounds does the GSG drum mag hold? A LOT...110 ROUNDS of .22LR.
You don't want to be out shooting around and have to reload every few minutes with those 22 round magazines...just load this 110 round drum up and go have an absolute blast with your sweet 522.
Just as you would with any semi-auto 22lr rifle or pistol you want to use higher quality and higher velocity ammo. Make sure your GSG 522 cycles the ammo you want to use in the standard 22 round magazine first before you fully load up the 110 drum. Also it's a good idea to start off by loading 10-20 rounds in the drum your first time.
You can easily take the 522 drum apart if needed by just a few screws and clean it after you've shot your drum a few times. It comes with some instructions on how to operate and maintain your drum magazine.
First, make sure the gsg 522 ejection port is opened and locked open when you insert the drum magazine. Once you have it in, then you can let the cocking tube forward.
You load it just like a regular magazine, only instead of pressing down on a thumb spring, you press the rotary magazine loading disc to the right as you insert each round being sure to keep a light pressure on the loading disc.
Never hold the GSG 522 by the drum magazine.
Does this GSG 522 drum fit the Umarex H&K MP5?
No, this is a factory made GSG 522 drum for the GSG 522 only. It does not fit the Umarex version.

110 rounds is a lot of rounds, love it for target practicing. i went out with this drum mag in the woods and never had to worry about running out of ammo. i added a sling because the drum and 100 rounds of .22 adds a bit of weight.
